I think I know why, I lived in Russia for 4 years, and they have slow connection speeds. most use 56k modems because cable ad dsl are very very expensive you won't believe if I told you the price. That's why they can't have good torrent site because max upload they have i 4 k/b, they just can't, they'll have to cheat

Bah.. Look at the Mid East...

Iran only added DSL about 2 years ago.. so Most are on 56K.. though actual connects are no better than 33.6 in most parts...
