please fix me on that if i'm wrong :
at some trackers they ban ip's just like you mentioned (ip range or country) but the banning is many times between the tracker site and your browser , so you cannot log in to the tracker site . so until today i only had to browse trough proxy , but my torrent client worked normally without any proxy . should i be aware of a new trend of privet trackers to block ip's for the torrent clients as well , or is it just diferent perception for different trackers ? bitmetv you can't use proxy thats some thing they clearly said that the account will be banned but what about bitme.org i had once an acoount then one day i can't even see the login page 403 forbidden unothorized and this was more than four month ago but now a freind of mine oferred me an invite there but i didn't accept it but when iam readin this thread i think i have a chance or i will have to have another dsl line from another isp i think so is it working with bitme.org
